The platform needed to be fast, secure, and compliant — three things that don’t easily come together in modern AI tooling. From HIPAA and GDPR compliance to seamless integrations with fragmented EHR systems, the technical stakes were high. In parallel, the AI performance had to meet clinical expectations, which meant minimizing response latency, ensuring accuracy, and building user trust from day one.
We built SmartPractice.ai from the ground up, combining clean UX with complex system architecture. The platform features a virtual medical assistant that automates patient intake, follow-ups, and documentation. Using GPT-4 and Whisper, we enabled real-time transcriptions and note structuring for clinicians, reducing their manual workload significantly. The dashboard was designed for speed and clarity, offering insights into patient engagement, documentation patterns, and operational efficiency. On the backend, we engineered a system capable of scaling across multiple locations with 99.9% uptime. Integrations with leading EHR/EMR systems were built for adaptability, and all infrastructure was deployed using secure, HIPAA-compliant cloud environments.
Reduced workload. Increased care.
Clinics using SmartPractice saw up to a 60% reduction in administrative tasks, while physicians rated the AI documentation features 4.8 out of 5. The platform is now live in over 50 clinics, fully scalable and compliant with HIPAA and SOC 2 certifications — proving that AI can be both powerful and practical in healthcare.
Next projects.
